Owner of Crystal Photography, Bainbridge Island's leading portrait studio, Crystal photographs island children, high school seniors and their families, bringing out the natural beauty of each individual. Growing up in Edmonds, Washington, Crystal spent her childhood riding horses. Later, she began photographing horses, and interestingly, worked as an assistant for Johnny Johnston, the international famous photographer of Arabian horses. Johnny became a pivotal inspiration to Crystal, nurturing her innate ability to capture the nuances and the impact of light and emotion on film.
