WinPages | WA | Kitsap County | Bainbridge Island
Beverly Hooks Gallery/Studio - Artist Beverly Hooks paints the world of Romantic Landscapes with personal expression enveloping a style of peace to all who venture along the dusty paths. Beverly Hooks works at her studio/gallery in Lynwood Center, Bainbridge Island, Washington. It is five minutes Southwest from the Ferry Landing at Winslow. Located in an old Tudor Style building, adjacent to the well known Lynwood Arts Theatre. The studio is adjacent to the waterfront at Rich Passage in Puget Sound on the Southwest edge of Bainbridge Island. It is surrounded by lush woods, rhododendrons, azealeas, laurels, and countless other flowers. This setting inspires the artist with memories of being in England among the quaint, and very often famous historic towns and private estates. A number of her originals are set in these locations, from the classic Tudor style home in "Vibrant Day in Devon" to the "Garden Conservatory at Ripley Castle in Yorkshire".

Mandalay Road Trading Company, Inc. - After years of wandering Asia during the 1970s and early '80s, our family had developed quite a few friendships while collecting for ourselves. A few years ago, a chance encounter with the man we used to collect from in what is now Myanmar led to the creation of our family business. Our method is fairly simple. One of us goes and hand picks the items on site, dealing with people who are knowledgeable in their area and whom we know and trust. Upon arrival in Seattle, each item is researched to confirm the initial assessment, using outside resources and experts as necessary. finally, it appears in our shop, and for some items, here online.

Bainbridge Arts and Crafts - BAC sells the work of over 300 local and regional artists—in the gallery, in special exhibitions, and at our annual Artists’ Almost Perfect Sale. We visit studios, we look at new work, we listen, we advise. We tell artists about opportunities in regular e-mails, and we hear from them that they’ve gotten commissions. We encourage young artists by exhibiting their work, buying art supplies for the public schools, and by funding scholarships.

Gallery Fraga - Miss one of our shows? Want to see more of an artist's work? Then you've come to the right place. Our online gallery lets you browse through works by some of our artists when it's convenient for you. And if you're interested in purchasing or finding out more about any piece, just let us know. If you live in the Seattle area, we'll be happy to let you try any artwork out in your own home. And we can ship anywhere in the world.

The Island Gallery - features internationally recognized artists whose work takes traditional art forms in exciting new directions -- wood furniture and sculpture created from Northwest and exotic woods; museum quality textile art (batik, shibori, ikat and other weavings exhibited as wall hangings and wearables); wood fired ceramics from the finest potters in America; and unique jewelry creations. Our gallery is a destination spot on beautiful Bainbridge Island, a 35 minute ferry ride from Seattle. Its Pacific Rim style reflects artistic collaboration across cultures.
